CL Surprise The Fans with Other 2NE1 Members at Coachella 2022
The former leader of 2NE1, CL, has been known as a soloist after 2NE1’s disbandment. In April 2022, she was also confirmed as one of the line-ups at the Coachella 2022 where she would be performing at the 88rising’s Head In The Clouds Forever stage. It was also known as the Coachella Main Stage! Aside from CL, 88rising also revealed other line-ups such as Jackson Wang, Hikaru Utada, Rich Brian, and many more. As people have expected, CL’s live performance on April 16 was beyond amazing, not to mention the way she hypnotized the crowds with her performance. Something impressive happened during CL’s performance break. All of a sudden, she disappeared from the stage and returned with Sandara Park, Minzy, and Park Bom together on the stage! The crowds were getting louder as they heard the familiar intro of 2NE1’s mega single, “I Am The Best”. 2NE1’s performance at the Coachella has been such a blessing for blackjack, especially since it was the group’s first performance after 6 years. Their last appearance was marked on the 2015 MAMA, and shortly after that, the group was disbanded.
The Reunion Was Suggested by CL

As the former leader of 2NE1 and how she and the rest members maintain a good friendship throughout the years, CL realized that the fans must have been waiting for them these past few years. Moreover, CL explained the reason why she invited the members to Coachella was that she wanted to gain more strength together with 2NE1 members before it was too late to feel it again. CL also wrote her lovely message to her and 2NE1 fans about the group’s reunion on her Instagram, @chaelincl. “Through this performance, we wanted to greet all the people who have protected and been with us all this time, and say thank you to those of you who have loved and cherish time with 2NE1 for the past 13 years,” she wrote.

Although 2NE1 only performed one single, “I Am The Best”, it was more than enough to warm up the fans’ hearts who have been longing for them. CL, Dara, Minzy, and Bom dressed up very well with the iconic 2NE1 vibes where they all appeared with funky and badass style. All of them posted different pictures of their performance at the Coachella 2022 and didn’t forget to write 2NE1 all over the caption. According to Minzy, she felt multiple emotions at the same time for the Coachella 2022. “It was very nice and I was excited to see different faces while performing at a big event with my members. That was when I realized I felt many different emotions.” Dara also can’t get over her togetherness alongside the members, and she sure hopes that there will be another day when they can reunite again.
